Thanks postmortem, without the support from the community this wouldn't be as great as it should be. I just want to update to everyone that I've recieved important feedback from my tester that there will need to be some more work done and I'll keep everyone posted to let everyone know that its coming along very well. I now have a new scoreboard that I've developed at the end of each level to let the player know what they have and have not found, each scoreboard is themed to each level and provides a nice diversion between levels. more soon thanks!

Thanks scubasteve your gonna need it Now how about an overturned icecream truck in the fog, it kinda has that silent hill feel. One thing I want to mention is how important testing is, its very very important as I find things in my own runs that I fixed only to find that they were not or wernt fixed as I originally intended, however this weekend I will be submitting the latest build to my tester and will see if there is more to do. otherwise release is getting much closer than ever. hang in there everyone!

Thanks tony, just to let everyone know I'm pretty much done and finished mostly, I'm just going to go through it a few more times to make sure everything works and optimise a few things. id say it's about 98% complete, I'd like to reanimate a few animations and fix up some of the models, all the levels that I'm going to include in the DOOM 3 version are pretty much built and completed. more soon... I'll keep everyone posted. Thanks. And for everyone being soooo patient here's another screenshot for you all

That's great news! After all your hard work and effort on the DOOM 3 mod, do you have anything left in the tank to even do the UDK version?

There are some parts I wanted to include but that will go to the udk version one example is the cop car with bob ivy in P4, I have the cop car model but dont have room in the doom 3 version. the udk version will be mostly following the doom 3 version as I can easily port over all the assets I made for the d3 version over to UDK because there all in .ase format to begin with. the only thing I have to do is scale up each piece by 1.5 times. I've mentioned this once before the difference is that the d3 unit scale is 76 high to udk being 92 high , so things in udk are bigger in scale size and have to be converted. however its easier for me to convert from d3 to udk than the other way around. One more problem I may have is finding a place to host this d3 mod file. the mod file is 352mb and many places have a limit of 200mb. all in all it is done and finished the only thing that still bugs me is getting the tallmans walk cycle animation to look more better cause he twitches funny at some points still. but its not that bad, but considering how much work I've done so far this would make the overall experience have better quality just from this one issue. Other tweaks I managed to impliment is giving the dwarf faces a needed improvement some have crooked teeth now, still much better than before. as soon as I spend a day on keyframing the walk cycle animation to my liking and find a file host then this will be then made available to all.

Bladeghost, if you need someone to host, shoot me an email and we can discuss it being hosted on the Archives. (Not a private message, but an email!).

End of the work day ? theres no such thing! especially after finializing it all night and all day I have a completed package now, and I had to get some sleep during the afternoon I was completely wiped out. I'm working out details with dustin atm for limited hosting as I'm working on upload sites and mirrors and links.... geeze more work than building the adventure ;D I'm currently uploading it to my testers site and may have a link soon for some. when I have the details worked out and have a file link established I'll post that information here or dustin may be posting where to download it from asap. stay tuned.....
Thanks everyone!

I just sent Bladeghost login information to host the Doom mod on my website. Hopefully we won't crash the Archives with this!

I downloaded it last night and just tested it out. One word: WOW! Download this mod ASAP! Bladeghost, this is simply amazing. Fine, fine work my friend. Where in the world is that key to get downstairs? I don't want to keep the Lady in Lavender waiting. Many thanks for all of your hard work!

So today, I've had to take the day off work because I've done myself an injury. So I thought what could I possibly do? Bladeghost, can I say that blew me away. Really, honestly it did. Those sentinels are the hardest thing I've ever come across. There's no way in hell I'd be any good against those in real life. It's been great seeing it come together from all of the posts throughout and finally playing it. It took me all morning to do and some bits really had me on the edge of my seat. Phantastic. You should be really proud of what you've acheived. If you can play it and you haven't, please do. It's well worth it. A spectacular piece of work. No glitches, no difficult instructions on how to set it up. I'm off to play it through again
