I love these shots so much! You live in such a beautiful area! The history--the castles--I want to go there so badly!!!
Did you know, trivia time... Angus lived for a little while in Britain and (I think he was there at the Coronation) he even played Theseus at the Edinburgh Festival? So, the Tall Man used to tromp through YOUR neck of the woods! And, might I add, he was very fond of his time there as well!

Thank you, the place is gorgeous, although I would like it to be a little warmer and less wet! I think you have mentioned that Angus played at the festival before. I'd love to see Angus on stage, I bet he would have such presence and Theseus would have been perfect for a man his size!
Come on folks, would love to see your pics!

Pics are great. I always loved castles and old cemeteries. Definitely want to visit London & Scotland one day. Never been to Europe.

Floyd, very beautiful shots too! The sphere made me laugh! I loved the winter shot with the snow. Everything looks so peaceful under a new blanket of snow. You are very lucky to live where you do.
I sure am enjoying a glimpse into everyone's hometowns. It's like a mini-vacation for me! :-D

Absolutely beautiful pics Steve & Floyd! I love to see pics of the snow, but in real life i am more at home in Florida, LOL! Growing up in North Carolina, it got cold and we had snows, i worked outside for years and i guess i didn't appreciate being out in it for 8-10 hours a day, LOL!! Again, great pics, i am looking forward to seeing more from all of you other guys.

Amazing shots, just as others have said! I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to travel. I'm never been outside the U.S. (except for Canada, and honestly it's basically the same). If any of you Phans overseas wanna fly me out, I'd be more than happy to visit! I'm conflicted on where I should, if I decide to, post pics from. I've lived in Michigan my whole life up until last year, now I live in Ohio. It's really not different at all, I just don't know where to post pics from haha.

Steve, I just watched an episode of Ghost Adventures last night that took place in your town! Namely the tunnels underneath your town. They also went to the supposed "most haunted cemetery in the world". I gotta say, absolutely beautiful locale.

Probably Mary King's Close I would imagine. There were houses built upon houses, which became squalid and poor and many people died and supposedly haunted. It's a great piece of history and now part of the tourist scene in Edinburgh. It's creepy as hell, but very well preserved historical feature. There are other streets discovered in the area, which are even creepier and some of the cemeteries are very spooky too. I'll try to dig some out of the Greyfriars Cemetery. Below is a link to Mary King's Close for further info. www.realmarykingsclose.com/about-mary-kings-close/about-the-close.aspx
