Dustin, While reading the latest issue of Horrorhound I noticed that they mentioned that your book was UK produced? Is this a typo considering my book says it was printed in Kentucky? And just a bit of curiosity: is Harker an imprint of Amazon? Sharp eyes, Obliviongoon. No idea why Horrorhound mentioned the book was just for the UK. That was incorrect (though it is also being sold on Amazon UK). My book shows the printing in San Bernardino, California. Harker is not affiliated with Amazon. Very cool looking stake for the logo, yes? :-D How do you like the book? I didn't even notice the stake on the spine until now! Granted, I've been so focused on the contents I haven't really inspected the little intricacies of the exterior I don't like the book... I love it. Have a Cocoa Beach day planned for Saturday; I'll be laying on a blanket with the book in hand. So now I'm even more intrigued by Harker... nice Dracula reference, printed in multiple locations, absolutely no info found on the internet. Is it a ghost, a phantasm?

Thrilled to hear you love it! I would love to be on Cocoa Beach enjoying it too! Sharing glasses of lemonade! That sounds like fun!
Dustin really likes "Dracula." Coincidentally, Stoker's novel was the first adult book I ever read and it warped me for life! So... the Harker reference is just a personal nod to a favorite forerunner of the Tall Man. This is, as far as we know, the first Harker publication. Hope Dustin writes many more, boyyyyyy!!!
Please let us know your thoughts on the book and leave an Amazon review too! Heartfelt appreciation, OG. :-D

I had no idea that a person could make their own imprint, very cool!

I finally got on here! I had trouble with my password! I want everyone to know I got my book yesterday and can't wait to read it! I've already managed to look at all the photos. What a wonderful gift Dustin has given us phans! I'm very proud to have been a part of bringing this book to life! Hope you all enjoy it! I called Angus Scrimm last night & we chatted for about an hour about the book and of course the upcoming RaVager. Don't know when it's coming out yet. Enjoy the book!

This book was more than one could ask for. More than any interview or commentary could handle. I do believe it will stand as the end all source for Phantasm information indefinitely.

Way to go.
Like some other people here, I've been quite busy.
So far, I've only made it to page 49.
The Star Wars - Thornbury connection was neat. I'm sure there's more tid bits to come!

As a longtime Phan since the first release in 1979 when I first saw Phantasm at the age of 13 something about this film just got inside of me and never left.
Reading Phantasm Exhumed over the past week brought me back full circle once again.
What I took away from this paperback masterpiece is that passion lives on behind the scenes of the Phantasm Franchise. Dustin you should be applauded on your never ending efforts. Most mortals will never fully comprehend the endless work and dedication it took to assemble the group and information to make this book a reality. Kristen, Guy & Mark, the entire cast and crew your contributions have been brought back to life from behind the Coscarelli camera lens. The extraordinary never before seen photos compliment the writing style and layout in a way that keeps the reader wanting more. The artwork and special cover design alone I give much praise. A special kudos to Angus, Kristen, Guy & Mark for documenting the entire experience which could never be told without your in-depth journals, on-set experiences and remarkable rare photography.
Angus Scrimm's contributions are ever so enlighting and really brings the book to a new level of Phan interest with-in the series from the Tall Man's perspective. Without the creator of The Phantasm Series, Mr. Don Coscarelli none of this would be possible.
In closing the people that worked behind the scenes of the Phantasm Films is what make the real difference and this book is a tribute to all of them and the Phans of the franchise. From one Phan to another we have Dustin McNeill to thank for embarking on such a project that has become and will always be a piece of living and breathing Phantasm history. Your humble efforts are greatly appreciated. Job well done!
This book is "The first ever book of extremely well documented Phantasm History and a must read and own for any Phantasm Phan or follower of the series".
My advice to all Phans is get your copy today this book will soon be a rare collectors item in the future.

Guy, RAH8K9, Vitaman and CudaCharger, thanks so much for the very kind words. So glad you're enjoying the book. CudaCharger especially, you flatter me way beyond my accomplishments! Several dozen folks have posted "Book Selfies" On Facebook and other social media and I've been passing them all along to Angus Scrimm, who's enjoyed them very much. So much, in fact, that he's gotten in on the action and decided to take a book photo himself! Just seeing this photo is so surreal! And very validating!

That is an awesome photo Dustin. The book is amazing I'm almost done with it. And even though I haven't finished yet I already left my 5 star review on amazon.

Nice photo! Angus sure still is looking great!
I'm with Vitamin here. Being busy with work and school, I haven't had much time to read through it. Now that I am out of school for the summer, I will have more time. Though I am still going to take it slow...you know, savor the taste. Besides, I still have a bunch of other books on my reading list that I still need to knock out.

Just finished Exhumed and was very pleased with it. Definitely one of my most favorite behind-the-scenes books, and I've read a ton of them. Excellent work, Dustin. You should be very proud. I only wish u had waited a little longer to release it so there could be more info on Ravager and it could be truly definitive. But thank u so much for what you've done.

Just received the book today when I came home from work. What a great gift to the phans!
Thank you Dustin for your persistence, Kristen those are some great photos! I was on the couch looking at each one, as soon as I am off here, I am reading the rest of tonight.
This makes me want to see all the films again, in a row, now.
This is a great addition to any phan's collection. Highly recommended.

Thank you, Baron Graves! I hope you enjoy the stories within as much as the photos! :-D We'd love to know your final thoughts on the book once you're finished. Dustin did a remarkable job putting all of this together and his writing is really a joy--it rivets you. Hard to put the book down! Enjoy!

Any chance of a signed copy yet Dustin ?. The first batch of signed copies are out. If anyone wants a signed copy, just email me. The venerable Angus Scrimm left Phantasm Exhumed a positive user review over on Amazon, albeit under his real name Lawrence Rory Guy. I've pasted it below:

I got my book about a week ago. Didn't get a chance to read it until just earlier tonight. So far loving it. Only problem I have with it, the font. I wear glasses and I found the font to be a little smaller then most of the books I'm used to reading. There were times the font made my vision go out of focus. Wish the font was just a tiny bit larger but otherwise the book is amazing and full of a lot of info.
